I'm sure most of you saw the story about the church bus accident just outside of Knoxville on Wednesday where 8 were killed. The bus was from Front Street Baptist Church, here in Statesville, NC. I attend a sister church across town where I serve on the deacon board. Our deacon board has been asked to help minister to this congregation tomorrow morning as they have their first service after this accident. The media, as you can imagine, has been camped at the church for days.

Could I ask you to please pray for all concerned tomorrow. That GOD will comfort the members of this church who have lost family and firends. Pray that we as deacons will know how to handle whatever situation may arise. And that the media will keep it's distance and let these people heal.
