Tim Thomas has been trashed on his Facebook page for speaking up about his faith. Here's a copy of his post last night.

Over the past few years, our culture has changed faster than I thought possible?

I dropped Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champion goalie, a FB note to encourage him. For the heck of it I ask if he might be interested in getting involved with Liberty hockey. Here's what he wrote back. This guys a strong Christian. He's retired right now, but several NHL teams are interested in his services.

Not sure what the future holds for me. I'll let God show me the way. FYI my oldest daughter is homeschooling through Liberty University, so your note was kind of ironic. She knew they had a hockey team but I was unaware.
