My Health

So, I had a pretty unusual thing happen this past Sunday. I hadn't been feeling well, but I figured it was just a bout of indigestion - I'd eaten a little late, and had a bit too much bacon (as if that's possible). I threw up a couple times before the morning service, and was actually feeling better. No biggie.
Until I got up to preach. Got dizzier and dizzier the more I spoke. Had some tightness in my chest, but nothing major. Figured I'd get through the sermon and sit down, but I didn't make it through my last point before I had to sit down. If I hadn't, I'd have fallen over right there. Thankfully, there are a bunch of nurses in the church, so I was immediately surrounded by people who knew what they were doing.
Spent the rest of Sunday in the ER. They didn't think it was my heart -- my BP on arrival was 70/39, and it actually got lower than that at one point before heading back up to too high. They kept me overnight so they could figure out what was wrong, and finally decided it was some type of viral infection that was leaving me dehydrated. They sent me home yesterday afternoon.
This whole thing seriously freaked me out, and I'm not quite convinced that it wasn't my heart. I would appreciate your prayers this week as I recuperate.
