Opening the doors to a conference

This might seem like a silly prayer request, I know there are many more important things, like missions, health, and difficult situations...I know this isn't even a secondary issue, but I still think it is something Liberty fans can pray about.
Here it is:
As we know, our school leadership has made it's intentions known about wanting to go FBS in football. This doesn't happen without a conference home. Let's pray that God opens the right doors. Let's also pray that in it's growth, Liberty will remain faithful to it's mission & through the avenue of sports people will find out about the university & some will be led into, or strengthened in their relationship with Christ. That God would open the right doors & close the wrong ones...that He would work in the hearts of the conference commisioners & college presidents, and even the people on this message board & others! That we would be patient & respectful of each other as we wish the best for our teams..that the right conference would be open to us...and that we would represent this new conference well in our actions on and off the field, and that they will benefit from their relationship with us. We also pray for every FCS team looking for a home...that no one, whether it be us or jmu or odu or Appy, would build a 30,000 seat stadium and not have any FBS teams to play simply b/c of college politics. God, in all of this, help us to remember how blessed we are, to have so much that we have time and resources to spend on what is essentially just a game. Help us to keep this in perspective, to be patient, and to glorify You in all we do. In our precious Savior's wonderful Name. Amen.
