Praying for BJ

BJ is taking a well needed break from FF for a few days, but he did ask me to post this here:
I have a second interview with a department at the university for a very big job that would be a major step up for me from what I am doing now (not only monetarily but experiencewise as well) at 1:30 on Friday and if the FlameFans prayer warriors could join me in praying for not only the interview but that I get this job. With getting married in August this would be a huge blessing for myself and my wife to be.

Would this job restrict his access during working hours? If yes, I will begin praying;)

I thought Id pop back out for a second and thank each and every one of you for your prayers. This is something I and my parents have been praying about for a number of years and God definitely came through in every step of this process. a big thanks to HMO for putting in a good word for me and for JLFJR for getting me in front of the right people. I am excited for this opportunity and look forward to using the gifts and talents God has given me to bless the University and to work with Coach Handy and the Club Sports teams.

Skiers and snowboarders make their mark at nationals
March 15, 2012 : By BJ Williams/Liberty University News Service
The Liberty University Skiing and Snowboarding team made its first trip to the United States Collegiate Skiing and Snowboarding Association (USCSA) national championships at the Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry, Maine, March 7-10.
Freshman Jon Steltzer had a particularly successful weekend, placing second in the skiing big air competition and fourth in skiing slopestyle. Steltzer recently signed a deal with 4FRONT Skis, becoming the first member of the team to sign a professional sponsorship deal.
Steltzer joined five Liberty snowboarders at the competition, who all performed well in their first national championship.

Just a quick update for you guys. The job is going well. Its a little slow because I started when there wasnt much going on in club sports, but starting next week things get a little crazy as there are 6 club sports events all within a span of three days and I'll be working on plans for next year when I pretty much will be responsible for covering all 29 club sports, in particular men's and women's D-I Hockey, Men's Lacrosse, Wrestling and Men's Volleyball. Pray for me as I work with everyone in club sports as we work out increasing exposure for sports that have quietly been some of the most sucessful on campus

I would but all I can do at this point is make connections with coaches and club sports staff because there arent events for me to cover until next week so in the meanwhile my boss has me run small errands as well

BJ, will you be covering the Quiz Bowl team next year?

Me...probably not. most of my writing is going to be club sports. Another writer (and Liberty alum) Drew Menard will probably be the one who takes a story like that

Pray for my fiance Alina. She has put in two dozen applications since she got to Lynchburg and I think only two interviews and she is getting quite desperate as we are in the last couple months before our big day. She had an interview at Ruby Tuesday last week and they want to schedule a second. I am trying to encourage her as best I can but seeing her struggle weighs heavily on my spirit as well.

haha, sometimes I wonder why he doesn't hide his updates from you. He is just going to get ticked off which will then result in entertainment for all.

My fiancee has experience (about 5 years worth) in daycare/preschool/early childhood centers so I figured Id see if any of my Lynchburg friends know of any places that might be hiring.
