I take care of the podcast for the church, too.

I was at LU from 86 to 89, but got my degree through the EDP in 04 (LOOOONG story).

You're in Greenup? I grew up across the bridge in Wheelersburg. Small world. I'm going to try and stop at Fred's in the Burg in a couple of weeks on my family vacation.

Dr. Diemer was interim pastor of my girlfriend's church when I was at LU. I also had him for Church History (sorta -- he did the videos for the EDP).

Calvary Revival Church has started two satellite churches in Suffolk and Chesapeake. You can go to www.crcglobal.org and they have links for both of them there

Welcome aboard, preacherchris.

For the rest of you youngsters on this board, chris goes back to the old alumni board. He'll bring a cool perspective to this forum.

Sweet deal!

I just spent a year on staff at First Baptist Church of Norfolk (my home church) before making the trek back to Liberty. What church are you at in Greenbrier? I'll have to come visit!

I'm the Pastor of a new church plant called Focal Point Church. We're a Baptist church that started in the Greenbrier Cinema Cafe'. I'd love to have you check us out one day. The site is FocalPointChurch.com

I've talked to Mike (student guy) at 1BN a few times. He's a good guy.

Feel free to drop me a line and I'd love to have you as my guest. Maybe we could grab lunch afterward or something. Take care. T

For the record, these are spambots posting as guests. The only thing I can do other than require membership to post is to delete them when they appear.

Now back to the discussion.

Sly Fox isnt there a way to ban spam posters!!!??????

The only way I know of right now is to make the forum members only. And I am loathe to do so across the board. But at some point it may be necessary in light of this recent barrage. I have gone ahead and made The Chapel available only to registered members until this attack ends.

For the record, these spambots are really tough to stop because they are using different surrogate IP addresses every time they post. That makes it impossible for me to head these off in advance.

good idea restricting the Chapel, SLY. One place we should probably ATTEMPT to keep it on the straight and narrow anyway.
