I learned today that my good friend, Cody Stanton, stepped on a landmine in Afghanistan. He is being transported to Germany for medical attention. Prayers would be appreciated. Thank you!

Praying for your friend Cody, Jkill617, and for his family.

Your post reminded me of Larry Provost, LU's Director of Commuter Affairs, who -- until just recently -- has been in Afghanistan for several months on his 3rd tour of duty. We've been praying for his service there and safe return. He wasn't expecting to return until March, but a I just got an email from him saying that he's in Missouri debriefing and will be back in Lynchburg soon to reunite with his wife Lori. PRAISE THE LORD!

Thankful for the service of Cody, Larry, and others!

I found this blog keeping everyone updated on Cody, he sounds like such a strong young man!
The Blog begins on Saturday Jan 28th and moves forward.
The family is hoping that Cody will be back in the U.S. very soon.
My prayers continue!
