Many of you younger fellows probably don't know who he is but "The Cross and The Switchblade" had quite an influence back in the '60's and '70's on the youth in the evangelistic churches in America.

He's 79 years old, and I'm thinking heart attack or cancer or something................... nope. Head on collision with a tractor trailer. Think about that next time you are tempted to not fasten your seat belt. Thankfully, his wife had hers on.

I remember watching that movie as a kid and being amazed by it. His book has definitely influenced members of my family as well.

man i had just listented to that "call to anguish" piece that he did a couple months back. I thought it was very well done, sad to hear this.
