At wits end.

I've struggled through several years of ministry where I'm currently serving and just feel like I don't have anymore hair left to pull out.
I'd appreciate prayer for my sanity. These are the days where it's hard not to pack everything up and walk away from ministry forever.
Thanks.
Zach

Remember it is not about the circumstances but the kids.

If you're still in P-burg, cross the big river and spend a few hours in the Buckeye State. Sly assures me that it's great therapy.
In all serious, I'm praying for you, brother.

My younger brother, who has only been in full time ministry for a year, is going to similar things...seeing him struggle with it creates a new respect for those in ministry. You all deal with a lot of crap..prayers for you for sure

Praying for you, Zach. Please pray for the ministry I'm involved with as well. I'm going through a rough patch myself right now and would appreciate prayers.
However, if it's any encouragement...Jonathan came down and spoke to a bunch of our pastors...and his gave a great illustration concerning pastoral ministry from the story of Elijah. Look at him...he got discouraged and went and hid in a cave. I think we all feel like going and hiding in caves at some point in ministry.

Zach,
You are in our prayers. Hang in there. Dad used to say the tough times will either make us bitter or better. Make sure it is the latter!

At first glance I didnt know the thread title and all I saw was Chancellor saying "If only I knew your name...." and thought, oh no...someone just stepped in a pile! Luckily this seems to be for a good reason! I would think that would be a recommendation that might get some attention

I have a second interview this week--please pray that things will go well and that we'll be able to discern God's will.
We have some big decisions to make and a lot of money at stake (i.e.; returning the $8k tax credit-even though we put it right back in to the house, the housing market is a complete toss-up right now) if we to decide to move.
