For those of you who have been around LU for awhile...you may remember Dr. Johnson. She worked in the Education Department for years. I just received word that her youngest daughter, Rachael, and Rachael's (newlywed) husband, Aaron Horton, were killed in an apartment fire this morning. The fire took place near Randolph Macon here in Lynchburg at the Princeton Circle West apartments.

I know prayers for the families would be appreciated.

article.

And, I have been away from LU for awhile, but apparently Dr. Johnson has gotten re-married and is now Kathie Morgan. She is still on Graduate Education staff....

We just got an internal email about it here at work. Aaron Horton worked at Genworth.

I was with her close cousin(almost sister) when she got the call this morning. Absolutely devastating. My heart hurts and breaks for that family.
