A Sea Of Red

My wife's great grandmother, who is 93 and lives with us, is very sick and in ICU. She got sick yesterday afternoon after we had Thanksgiving with my parents. She's been in the hospital ever since. She basically raised my wife and the 2 of them have lived together my wife's entire life. They are best friends. To put it short, we need a miracle for her to make it through this. I'm thankful our God is a God of miracles.

Well, she came home last night around 7pm. She is on bed rest and is hooked up to an antibiotic IV 24/7. Caring for her has become a full-time job, as is taking care of a 10 month old. This has forced my wife to take an LOA from her job which may become permanent. Unfortunately the associated costs don't decrease.

Have you considered Hospice care? Usually, they will only come in situations where patients have limited time - but if the situation is serious, they might be of help to you.
