Prayer for my wife

Without getting to detailed on this whole thing I would love prayer for my wife. She and I moved down here 9 months ago and shortly after the new year she got a job working for an online college dealing with military students. At the time she wasn't exactly thrilled with getting this job since it essentially a customer service job, but we needed the money and it wasn't horrible. Well, it has completely changed from the job she once had. Their are many questionable business practices and other such things. So, with this said, several months ago she decided since her pursuit of an entry level ad/pr job was not working out she would work torwards getting her elem. education teaching license. After much work and prayer she passed all the required test and recived her temp. certification. As soon as employment opened up for teaching jobs she began applying for every thing that opened up. At least 50 openings. She was feeling good about her chances, especially after a rep from the county told her she shouldn't have a problem finding employment. Well teacher's went back to work this week and she did not get a single call back and is frustrated. She has continued a job search elsewhere but has yet to get any calls.

I know its a tough time right now and we are thankful she does have the income coming in, but with some of the questionable things going on she is beginning to wonder if as a Christian she should continue to work there.

There is much more to this, but I have written much more then planned..but please pray for my wife. Her faith is being rattled and as the husband I am out of words to say.

Thanks guys...

With property values dropping, tax revenue has taken a nose dive for most school districts and many are simply not filling open positions. That's especially challenging in growing areas like Florida & Texas. That's little consolation when you are looking for work.

Praying here in Texas.

Actually Hillsborough County is one of the few in the state not doing that.

Its just hard because other surrounding counties are cutting back causing many experienced teachers to come over here. That is what is making it a bit more challenging.

There is just very little entry level jobs in most career fields which is the main reason I am in the Air Force now. Its frustrating, that is for sure.

Has your wife thought about applying at a Christian school as a full time or subsitute teacher. Bayshore Christian is right near the AF base. I taught there many years ago.

My wife finally got a job interview today at a school. Due to a new law about class size the county had to hire a bunch of new teachers. She finally got an interview which she felt went very well, she will find out on Friday what they decide. There are two positions open at this particular school.

Thanks for the prayers guys, they are appreciated. She is really excited about this potential opportunity.
