I'm involved with a local group/bible study and we are interested in starting a local assembly. Anybody have good resources (good/bad ideas) on their experiences?

I'm interested to hear ANY feedback from other church planters.

The only person I know of on FlameFans that has planted a church is Tally and he's been pretty successful.

Other than that, I know a lot of guys who have planted if you want me to give you their e-mail addresses.

TallyW has been involved in several plants and is currently doing a tremendous job in inner city Baltimore. He doesn't post much on here but he's always on Twitter @TallyWilgis. In addition to being involved in a work in Tidewater, he was in Corpus Christi before that. So he does have a touch of Texan in him.
