A Sea Of Red

I just want to post a real quick request. My wife is about 4.5 months pregnant with our first child. We found out last week that we are having a boy. During that same appointment we were also told that there appears to be a cyst on our baby’s brain. The cyst in itself is not harmful to the baby but some doctors think it could be an indication of other problems (Down Syndrome, abnormal organ growth…) As a result, they wanted my wife to have a Level 2 sonogram done today just to make sure there is nothing wrong with our little guy. The doctors feel that it may be nothing, and the cyst may not even be there any more, but we are playing it safe none the less. Please pray for us, especially my wife who is a lot more concerned than I am. The appt is at 3 this afternoon. Thanks everyone, I always know I can count on Flame Fans!

Thanks guys. Just got back and the Doctors told us that it appears that everything is just fine. We got some great quality pictures of our little guy who was dancing all over the place. I am thankful to have a place where I can go and share my prayer concerns and know that they will be lifted up. Thanks again guys!

Well guys, I am asking for prayer again. As I write this I am sitting in the Hospital. If all goes well, I should have a little baby boy to hold sometime tomorrow. My wife is being induced and they plan on starting at 5am. So far, everything is going great (which of course is easy for me to say). I will update as I can but I ask that you pray that everything goes well. I appreciate it.

I am very happy to that at 1:59pm, my little baby boy was born. 7lbs 3 oz, 18.5 inches long and perfectly healthy. Thank you for all the prayers throughout.
