Mockery of Easter? Someone's a little uptight.

They were having some fun. It was stupid and awkward, yes, but not a mockery of Easter. There were no inappropriate crucifix visuals, no one rising from the dead... just having some fun. I think it's really creative, and if that's the kind of Church they have, then they can "save more lives and have church 4 times" all they want.

Yeah, not quite sure how this mocks Easter, but really churches need to stop trying to up the ante on corny parodies of pop culture.

I think it's funny that Matthew Paul Turner is getting upset about Christians making jokes about Christianity.

They took a cheesy parody video which everyone, especially unchurched people, will laugh at and used it to promote a fourth service on the busiest Sunday of the year. That's awesome. That's much more effective than handing out cards that say, "We're having extra services for easter. You should come." This shows people that this church is willing to have some fun and have church at the same time. I can't believe that as a church planter you think this is anywhere close to a "mockery of Easter Sunday."
