Please, PLEASE pray for the earthquake in Haiti. I was listening to KLOVE radio a little while ago, and a woman called in. She said that her brother-in-law and sister, along with their two kids, are in Haiti. She said that she knows for sure that the children are safe because they were not with their parents, but she has not heard from her sister and brother-in-law. This story touched my heart to the point of almost crying. Please pray for this woman's family- Jessi and Michael- and Haiti.

And someone pray for Pat Robertson, who is so misguided and backward that he essentially went on record saying the Haitians have gotten everything they deserved over the last two hundred years.

That was a hot topic on the board before we lost all of the posts of the past day or so.

In a story of few positives, it has been great seeing the outpouring of generosity of Christians 7 Non-Christians alike in response to this disaster.

My 7-year-old son was asking me some pretty tough questions last night about how God could allow such horrible thing to happen. But we prayed that out of this tragedy that eyes & hearts of many would be opened to the Gospel.

Obama pledged $100 million and troops this morning. The first group of military is set to leave this afternoon.

A guy that I work with has not yet heard from his two brothers that currently live in the center of this all. Needless to say, he is a wreck.

The one LU grad I know in Haiti is safe, and appreciates the prayers.
