Hey All,

Can I ask for prayer for a friend of mine that I grew up with. Her name is Kristin. She was pregnant with twins and went in yesterday for a routine c-section, but during the procedure she suffered a seizure. She is now suffering from internal bleeding and had to be intubated. They had to rush her to a different hospital so now her and her babies are in seperate areas. That is all i know at this point, but please pray for her and her family. Thanks!

Ok, here is the latest update. A filter was installed into one of her veins Monday afternoon. The filter could not be installed before because the clot was too close to the heart. It gives added insurance that the clot will not enter the heart and even if it does move into the filter it will dissipate more quickly. She's been taken off the blood thinners so that she can heal, she's eating (very lightly), and today they plan to begin getting her up and having her walk a little bit. Needless to say, she wants to get home to her boys. With the screen minimizing the threat of the blood clot and the doctors stopping the blood thinners, Kristin is now in recovery stage. Continue to keep her in your prayers as she is not out of this yet.

Also, her twin boys are still very healthy and left the hospital over the weekend.

Great News and answer to Prayer! Kristin was released from the hsopital. She is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you all for your prayers!
