Hey fellas, just thought I'd check back in to bring you this tidbit of news, Pat Robertson has been out of commission the last few weeks while undergoing heart surgery, but he's okay now:
religious broadcaster Pat Robertson is recovering well after undergoing 10 hours of heart surgery in North Carolina.

Christian Broadcasting Network spokesman Chris Roslan said Monday Robertson is "doing great" since the Aug. 19 surgery in Pinehurst, N.C.

The 79-year-old founder of the network had the surgery after he experienced shortness of breath and weakness. He was treated for atrial fibrillation, which afflicts an estimated 5 million Americans.

Robertson was hospitalized for eight days before returning home to Virginia Beach last Thursday.
In any event, if you can keep him in your prayers, that'd be appreciated.

(okay, so I go away for two months and we've gotten a new FlameFans? Nice look, guys.)

Thanks for the post. I saw this report on a few online sites and the comments were just vicious. While I may not agree with Pat 100%, and it seems as if he's lost his fastball, he truly is a titan of the faith and my prayers are with him.

Just out of curiosity- aren't the hospital systems in the Tidewater area able to provide better cardiac care than Pinehurst?

I don't know, maybe he wanted more privacy...?

you'd have been better off not drawing attention to that. The game lasts longer if you ignore comments like that.
