Guys I would really appreciate your prayers. Earlier today I had a severe pain in my leg that I interpreted as a cramp but has turned out to be a life threatening blood clot. I have been in fear of something like this for several weeks as I have has circulation issues with my leg. I started wearing a sleeve on my leg for about a month or so but today's episode forced me to the emergency room where they have now admitted me. I just took 2 shots in the stomach which is not fun...I am going to be on blood thinners for a while. I will let you know more when I find out. In the mean time, please keep me in your prayers if you think about me. Thanks guys.

Smoothy thanks bro! I am feeling ok but that pain in my leg was a real warning sign! Thanks to a concerned wife and co-workers the doctor feels they may have saved my life. I may have to have a procedure tomorrow on my heart and lungs depending on how the meds go. My softball season is over and my moonlight bike ride through the job on Saturday is not going to happen. They are running more tests but I am praying they don't find anything else wrong. Thanks again guys. I am truly moved by your concern and prayers. Please pray for MRS SCAR too. She is trying to be strong but I see how tough this is on her.

I updated facebook but I wanted to let you guys know that my procedure this morning was a success. The procedure was to insert a splint near my heart and lungs to prevent the blood clots from doing any more damage and possibly killing me instantly...I am still on bed rest and meds. No more contact sports for a while. My softball team just lost a pretty decent 1st baseman lol.
