My video team put together the following video as worship support for a performance tomorrow of the Jeremy Camp song "There Will Be a Day". We'll have someone singing it live with a full band (and orchestra in our first service). The original Camp version is on the video as a place holder until tomorrow's live deal.

<object width="400" height="230"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id= ... =1"><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id= ... llscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="230"></embed></object><p><a href="

What do you think? Are the guns over the top for Sunday morning worship? Incidentally the burka you see is one I bought for my mother in Abu Dhabi a few years ago and all of the actors are people in our church.

Looks good to me bro. :D

Just remember what I heard an old country preacher say one time, it went something like this, "it doesn't matter whether you have a 100 piece orchestra or some little old lady singing Amazing Grace a capella in a church with only 10 people....if God doesn't breathe the Holy Ghost on it, it won't work."

Pray that God puts his hands on it, no doubt whatsoever it'll work when He does.:)

I think I see that first SWAT guy's leg moving. But is it really possible to keep it in the air without moving?

I don't think it's over the top if it's a church that appreciates a good music video anyways. And it's good stuff.

only thing I'd change is the words at the end are hard to read. I understand its trying to keep with the still theme but with the moving camera it was harder to read. I loved it though. Thats an awesome video. Guns aren't over the top. That stuff happens everyday around the world and its something the church needs to understand. While we sit here in our freedom thats a reality happening somewhere across the world to our brothers and sisters in christ. again great vid.

It was very well received with not even one complaint from our usual complainer contingent. You know, the same ones who constantly fuss about the jib and the fog machines and everything else we do that wasn't around in 1955.

You know Sly, that "complainer contingent" kinda reminds me of some of the people talked about in Dr Caner's new book.

And let me guess.....this contingent has sat on the back three rows of the church without moving since 1955 too, correct? :P

Here's an idea....offer to take them out for a round of drinks at the local watering hole. Sad thing is, after they hung you out to dry, they themselves would probably go out to said watering hole to celebrate. Don't let them ever knock ya down.
