Prayers for a couple of things, all related.

I plan on asking my girlfriends father for her hand in marriage tomorrow. Due to this, I have a few prayer requests.

Firstly, they have their first daughter getting married this summer, and the other two looking to get married within the year, one of them to me. They are not ready for this, and as a result, not too excited about the possibility of letting go of their entire family within a year. So, please pray that he will put this aside and still say Yes, I can ask his daughter.

Secondly, that I actually get the balls to do it. There is alot more that has gone on this year because of the above situation that has intimidated me. I was supposed to ask him twice already now, not including the perfect time I had to do it today, so I pray for some cajones tomorrow.

I already have the ring, she is ready to say yes (already legitimately planning for next summer), and just need to ask him and ask her finally, so please be praying for me, it would be much appreciated

Just get the question over with and you'll find it a massive relief (and actually quite liberating).

Oh, and just for a laugh, I will tell you how my Dad proposed. He went over to Mom's house and saw that she was sick. He said,"Oh, well, since you are sick, I was going to propose to you, but I guess not." Mom took that as a proposal and they have been toegether ever since.

Thanks for your prayers. He said yes. Im not asking her, however, for a few weeks.

Monday is the day. Pray for safe travels as I will be leaving after church on sunday to drive all night to get ther monday morning.

I chickened out asking pops a couple of times. It's not easy...especially when my wife's father resembles Shrek. He's a big dude.
