I've never posted here b4, but more prayers can never hurt!

I am scheduled for a "donor nephrectomy" next Tuesday, Dec 16. Please pray:

1. Praise God for all the miracles he has already accomplished in this situation, far too many to number! He is truly an Awesome God!!
2. Pray for the surgeons and their teams at MCV that they will do their jobs well in the operating room(s) and that all will go well.
3. Pray that the kidney *immediately* works in the recipient and is not rejected by him.
4. Pray for my nervousness
5. Pray that lives will be touched for the Lord by my witness and that of the recipient and his family.

Many thanks!!
Love,
Mom :D

Mr. Kelly and I both came through the surgery very well. Kidney transplant was a success! Unfortunately I had a collapsed lung and spiked a fever yesterday, but seems they have that under control. We're both still moving very slowly, but at least we're moving!! I may be released tomorrow, he will probably have to wait until Sunday to go home. Thanks to all for the prayers =) God is so good!
