Hey guys, I will be moving to Georgia from Lynchburg tomorrow! I already have a job and housing there, so it doesn't seem like I need prayer for much...but I am really struggling with leaving everything I know and going to a whole new place, to put it bluntly:
I am ABSOLUTELY terrified, and sad too!
i work a full day tomorrow and will be hitting the road at about 6:30 pm for a longgg drive to Athens, GA....prayers would be appreciated!

You're working a full day and then moving? Call in sick, girl!

Right?! my company is queer, and I did an internal transfer.... they DONT give you moving days, and our coverage here didn't allow for me to take a vacation day! CRAZY!

A transfer I take it or starting late?
Either way, have a safe move.

Athens is nice -- I helped open a Lowes store there, back in the day. Plenty of great food

Harry Bissett's if you like Cajun food. As I recall, they used to have a Cajun buffet once or twice a week with some really good food on it (first place I ever ate alligator and rattlesnake). Any of the Mellow Mushroom locations has great pizza. And the duck at the Thai Cafe is really good, but a bit pricey (I was on an expense account, so money wasn't really an issue for me).
They've got a lot of decent sandwich places, but those things go in and out so much I'm not even sure if what I ate at is still there. They've got an incarnation of The Varsity there that's really good, but if you want the original you have to go into Atlanta.

Boy do I hear that.
Kidding. Kidding.
Best of luck! I admire your courage in taking on the unknown, for sure.
