Praying for the President Elect

I haven't (yet), but I know I should. However, I saw on Facebook that one of our LU alumni is already praying for our new President. I suppose more Christians should now do the same, rather than "cursing the darkness".

We used the 117th Psalm as our scripture verse when I did my son's homeschooling this morning:
ESV wrote:Praise the LORD, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
Praise the LORD!

Yeah, it hit me this morning on my drive into work. It is what it is. God is in control at all times. I had to get over my pride and pray for Barack this morning; I hope all other Christians will do the same.
