Some of you who are close to me like Smoothie, Medic GMTM and Sly know how un-traditional the Scarborough's live in terms of our jobs and home. For the past 6 years now I have been doing contract work as a Project Manager for various corporations in DC and Richmond. 4 of those years we owned a house in Lynchburg and part of that time MRS SCAR and I were working in different cities and meeting each other in Lynchburg on Weekends. It has been a wild ride but we remain close. Last year we decided that Richmond would be home since we both were starting to get contract work here (she is a contractor too). Contracting can sometimes mean not working weeks or months at a time waiting for that next assignment which can really play on your emotions...Anyway, this week, after a 15 month wait, we are finally moving into our new home here in Richmond. We were supposed to move back in January but our builder delayed due to the economy changing and some other factors. As a result we have been in the one bedroom apt that we also had here in Richmond for the past 2 plus years. My praise is simple. Thank God that we both are living and working in the same city and that my job is going well and possibly could turn into a full time gig. Also thank God for our home. MRS SCAR's latest contract ended 3 weeks ago which could have delayed our move but we were still able to get through underwriting! That in itself is probably our biggest praise!!!! Don't worry those of you in Richmond (Manson) I don't need any help moving
