Heaven...just got a little bit better with the arrival of Jeff Taylor. An extremely kind person who I got to know through the fantasy football league over the past few years. A horrible accident, and his son and family need to be wrapped up in God's love at this time. I have just prayed for his family and will continue to do so. Shocked just doesn't seem to fit at this time.

I don't post often on this side, but I had to pass along my condolences. Jeff and I had many a conversation about LC and LU baseball. Punch in the gut is right. RIP, Jeff. Just speechless right now.

I'll miss you buddy. My prayers now for your family.

I got to know him through FF as well....then I'd go down & visit with him every once in a while... Great, great guy.....

The crew at CoastalFans.com is in shock. Jeff (FR as we knew him) was a great poster and, although I never met him or conversed with him outside the forum, he sounded like someone I'd have been great friends with. My sympathies & prayers to Jeff's family and friends. I'll make sure to say a couple of words about him during our broadcast Friday night in Conway.

Such sad news. I never knew him personally, but around here he'll be missed. My thoughts are with the family. Rest In Peace, Fumble.

I echo what Randy said. He was always a classy poster on our site and here too. Terribly tragic news. Feel so bad for his son.

This is really sad news. Jeff was a great guy, and always nice to me at tailgates, athletic events, etc...

He will be missed greatly. Definitely praying for his family, especially his wife and son. RIP Fumblerooskies, this place will never be the same without you here.

The Rogers' will be praying for the Taylor family. Although I didn't know him, I've read his thoughts here many times, and this news hits close to home.

Such sad news...

This reminds me of a time when I was pitching in a game and the batter fouled one off down the first base line and drilled my dad square in the chest. He shook it off like it was nothing but I could hear the thud from the pitcher's mound. I don't know what I would have done, other than blame myself, if something like this happened to him.

My biggest memories of FR were meeting him in person for the first time (it was the football opener this past fall or fall 07 I forget) and then his regularly advisiing me on fantasy baseball.

This...man...I dont know what to say...

I go to Newsadvance.com about every day. I saw the the intro to article and clicked on it, did not realize it was one of our own. Our heart aches for the family and will be praying in Florida.

I was sitting here thinking about what Fumble would want to do and I came up with an idea.

As we know, FR was a professor in the Athletic Training Program. I think that we, as a FlameFans community, ought to get together and create a scholarship in his name, and have it awarded to an outstanding athletuc training student who exhibits the characteristics both on and off the field that made him such a joy to be around.

My thoughts and prayers go out to FR's family. I lost my wife 8.5 yrs ago and know it will be difficult for his family.

On a note that was mentioned earlier about a way to remember Jeff....If any of you are thinking about a scholarship at Liberty let me know and I will be more than happy to help. It would be a great way to remember a great guy!

It was a rough afternoon today.... Got nothing but good things to say about Jeff... He was a big fan of the Sportsline back in the day and that's where I first met him before going to LU. He always had time for you and one trait that you just can't teach is that he always made it seem like what you were saying was more important than what he was saying. We lost two great guys today. David Poole of the Charlotte Observer also passed away this afternoon. Thoughts and prayers go out to both families.

FR, as he was known on our forum, will be sorely missed. He was always a "class act".
My thoughts and prayers are going out to his family and especially his son. May God's love surround them in this time of sorrow.
