Appraisal was good. Now we just have to pray that they get their stuff together for the loan and it doesn't fall through between now and August 19.

We are back from Europe, wasn't our smoothest trip ever but overall had a great time. Closing on the sale of our townhome in Maryland went well, praise God for that. Now just praying that the check gets here timely.

Everything has been wrapped up with the house in Maryland. Still a few checks to trickle in for things like our escrow account, refund of insurance premiums, etc...

Went to the county health department on Thursday for the septic tank review to start work on getting our building permit for the addition to the house. Our contractor is working on building a ramp at my grandmother's house, and then we're up next on the list. Pray this goes well.

SAP review complete and approved, onto building inspector and zoning.

Application to zoning submitted, and building inspector came by today. Hopefully we'll get the permit to begin breaking ground soon.

Building permit received! Now just gotta get the contractor here to start construction. As the people in my community have told me, the man we have does excellent work at a great price, but "God put him on this earth to teach us patience."

And in other news, my vehicle needs major repair and I potentially have gall bladder problems. Prayers for health and financial wisdom as we navigate the big changes coming up are greatly appreciated.

And now Dave's car is acting up, and it is time for him to get a new one. I've gotten my Jeep back, pray that it can last another 4 years until Dave's car is paid off and we know how many children will be in the family.

In other news, I am starting a side hustle of selling books and dishes on eBay to help offset some of the planned, and unplanned, major expenses.
