My sister had a baby about 2 weeks ago and just found out that he has 49 chromosomes XXXXY. I don't know much about this yet but my family and Liam (my nephew) could really use your prayers.

Definitely praying here in Roanoke.

To help people understand, here's the breakdown:
The cells in a typical human contain 46 chromosomes, either XX (female) or XY (male).

49 XXXXY is considered by some to be a variant of Klenfelter Syndrome (47 XXY), but sometimes the clinical symptoms can be very different. Males born with 49 XXXXY will typically display radionulnar syntosis (abnormal soft tissue or bony connection between the ulna and radius in the forearm), mental deficiency and hypogonadism.
