hey I just had to post this story that happened to me recently (today in fact):

Last week I was working on a project for one of my COMS classes and I took a break and checked my email. One of the emails contained two e-tickets to the David Crowder Band concert this Saturday. As much as I wanted to praise my strange luck, but I knew I had not ordered any tickets to that concert (although I had planned to). I saw a name and telephone number and so I decided to contact the name listed because I figured there was some mistake. I got a hold of the lady yesterday and explained what had happened. She said thank you, explained that she was trying to forward them to her daughter and that she must have forgotten to put the number in when punching in her email address (there are 4 bjwilliams at Liberty...Im the only one that does not include a number).

I had actually deleted the email with the tickets and not given it any further thought, but today I got the same email, but it was a forward and included this message:

"I was very impressed with your honesty. These are truly YOUR tickets. Enjoy."

I guess honesty sometimes is the best policy.

Great story, BJ. Suggestion--take the mom's DAUGHTER to the concert with the other ticket. :cheerleader
