Calvinism Forum at Liberty University

It is now official. There will be a Calvinism Forum at Liberty University. I am neither any match for Dr. James White's brilliance nor is my worthy opponent, Anthony Barone, any match for Dr. Ergun Caner's showmanship. But we were able to organize a forum on this important topic, so you'll all have to settle for us.

I am glad that Anthony and I are able to approach this issue in Christian charity where so many men so much greater than us have not been able to. It is a tribute to the greatness of the men who have gone before us that we are able to approach this issue as co-laborers in Christ and yet passionately defend what we are convicted the Bible teaches on this issue. The topic question will be "Has God chosen a fixed number of people for heaven from eternity?"

The forum will be held in an appropriately sized classroom in DeMoss Hall on the campus of Liberty University on March 1st (we will arrange the location soon when we gage what size an appropriately sized classroom would be). The forum will be moderated by David Ortiz (no relation to the ball-player), there will be extensive cross-ex, refreshments will be provided, and anyone who wishes may come and ask a question at the end. More details on the format will be forthcoming when they are hammered out.

Most modern Calvinists actually have a sense of humor --> http://www.sacredsandwich.com is a good example. There are bad stereotypes on both sides -- the "Calvinists don't believe in evangelism" thing is one example.
