I don't know if I've told any of you guys yet or not, but my wife got me a yellow lab puppy about 2-3 months ago. Well, she is dehydrated, has been vomiting and has had diarrhea since yesterday afternoon. I am kind of worried about her. The vet couldn't see her until 5:30 this evening. I looked up these symptoms online and I'm concerned she may have Parvo. Hopefully, it's just something she's eaten and not as serioius as I fear.

My dog had this about a year ago....turned out to just be worms that were treatable with pills. Hopefully thats what it is.....

My wife's roomate had a puppy with Parvo back in college. It's a terrible terrible thing. You pretty much have to bleach or throw out anything of the dogs'. Make it drink gatorade until you can see a vet. I don't think Parvo is particularly dangerous for the dog, if treated. But it can be kind of expensive, and as I'm sure you know, pretty disgusting.

It's not worms, she already had those, and they're gone as of this past Saturday. That's why I'm so worried.

If I was you I would take her to the nearest emergency vet asap. It is nothing to play with. If she will not hold down water that is a very bad sign

I hate it when my dogs seem even the littlest bit sick, so I feel your pain on this one.

Praying for ya.

Thanks for the prayers. Needless to say she definitely scared me yesterday, but the vet said it was just an allergic reaction to some of the vaccines (sp) she got on Saturday. She gave me some medicine for her, and she seems to be her normal self today.

Yeah, AB's are pretty powerful stuff for someone so tiny. I'm surprised you can drink tea like you do.
