This is a weird one for me but it involves a family member so I'm putting any personal feelings aside and asking you guys to pray for her. She's in the hospital now. They found out that her carotid artery was blocked. She originally went into the hospital because she was short of breath, but a lot of that was because she was taking a lot of antibiotics and not drinking water or taking care of herself, etc. I haven't heard any updates other than that.
Moreso than my grandma, I want you guys to pray for my dad. He's the oldest son in the family (has two older sisters). My grandparents divorced when my dad was a kid and he was always much closer with his dad. His mom treats him bad now and he's just never really gotten along with her. At the same time, it's still his mother in the hospital. His sister's and brother are fighting with each other over who's in charge, etc. My dad (and mom) are the only ones in the family with medical experience so my grandmother's husband (who works in the Gulf of Mexico and is down there now) has pretty much put my dad in charge and over everything. Dad's just in a weird situation where a) he's busy at work, b) his mother's in the hospital, c) he's got to handle his three sister's and his brother, and d) he's never gotten along with his mom. It's bringing back memories of when his dad died a few years back (who he was very close to) and he's just having a hard time with it all.
