With enrollment at an all-time high, housing on both Main and East campuses is full – so LU is placing students at the Lynchburg Inn and Conference Center.

from the sound of things it really won't be THAT bad living over there....being 3 miles away would be the only bad thing about it

I lived over there teh first couple months of East Campus' existence...prettu nice digs. I wonder if they will have cable TV in the rooms like they did when I was there?

True story. Back in the 80's I was an RA at a hotel located on Wards Road for overflow students. One night while two other guys were in my room with me. I got a knock on the door and three young ladies promptly entered and made themselves at home. After an awkward who says something first moment, the one girl said, "aren't you guys from VMI". Not sure how they got my room number but they sure left quickly.

they have the best spot at the Ramada now.... right next to Big Licks and Outback. Also, I hear they are putting another Big Licks on Timberlake.

Big Licks is already open on Timberlake. Drove by yesterday, I didn't realize it was going in there. its right beside big lots

It was offically Big Licks as of Tuesday. They've been gradually making the transition from The Cattle Ranch over the last few weeks. I've been working from there all week. I recommend the crab enchiladas.

So they are no longer by Cattle Annie's ? I think I will try your suggestion.

Cattle Ranch. Which was next to Lowe's. Cattle Annies is over by Outback and is still Cattle Annies.

Yeah, Im not financially checked in yet because i had some problems with the financial aid office, which I know never happens, but I was notified today there are no open beds anywhere on campus, and to start looking at off campus housing. Anyone got any ideas of cheap places to look
