Where can I get a cheap haircut at in Lynchburg? Preferably under $10 if thats possible. My hair is really short and easy to cut, so I don't feel like paying a fortune for it

Bryson has cut it before and did fine, but he isn't here and I want it cut soon. If you want to come over and bring trimmers and you can

There are at least 2 old-fashioned barbershops left in the burg. One is on Main street downtown, and if it's the same guy "Dickie", he does OK on short hair. The other one is on Campbell Ave. in the Dodson Exterminating building. "Sonny" is a Dodson and gets his space there either free or cheap. I wouldn't let him cut my hair if you paid me. Those are probably the only places for under 10, unless you have a discount coupon for master cuts or the new place out 29.

JDUB, two barbershops I would recommend are:
(1) Hunt's, on route 221 (not far from where Bojangles used to be), or
(2) Forest Cove, across from Burger King (also on 221).
I think both are in the $10-11 range.

Well, I don't know what kind of haircut you want, but like I said before, Choppers does the best on short haircuts. You might be the only white dude in there, but so was I when I went in the past (before I bought my own clippers). Some funny things happen in there & if I still had hair, I'd be going there.

I used to go to Choppers. Good guys that gave a good haircut. Also, they used to go to Shakers and ask to sit in my wife's section and then leave a big fat tip for her.
It's a cool environment.

Ft Hill barber shop is $11 and he is an old time barber and OLD lol. It is in the line of shops between the Waffle House and the Bank of the James. THat way you can stop at the ATM get a haircut, then grab a waffle!
Also, Brookville Barbershop is really good AND you get the HOT SHAVE!! It is across from Advance Auto on Timberlake just b4 you get to Watlerlick Road. I believe it is $12.

I also used to like the Timberlake Barbershop on the corner of Timberlake and Waterlick.
When I was going to UVa, I used to get my hair cut at the same old fashioned barbershop that gives Howie Long his flat top.

if you just want a short haircut that takes essentially zero skill to do, just go buy your own pair of hair clippers and cut it yourself. it's a heck of a lot cheaper in the long run. i havent paid for a haircut in nearly 10 years now because I just do it myself.

No help for a cheap haircut in Lynchburg, but I had three haircuts while I was in Costa Rica. The most expensive was the equivalent to $3.85. The last and cheapest one was a shade under a dollar. I don't know if I can ever pay for a $15 or $20 cut again. Next time I may get my clippers out and try it myself.
