Believe it or not I don't drink coffee but I am happy to serve up this category. Once again I am open to nominations.

Is there a Dunkin Donuts in Lynchburg these days? I know the old one by Heritage is now the bakery that LU students frequent. But DD always seems to win coffee awards in many cities.

Not anymore. But, I think there is one on it's way. ETA is the next 3 years, IIRC.

I have noticed Dunkin Donuts signs on two of the Hess stations in town, but i am not sure if its just a small rack with a few donuts on it or an actual dunkin donuts....

There is a coffee shop out on 221 near Perrowville Rd. that has what I would consider the best hot coffee- the name escapes me but "Cherry" is in there somewhere. Bonus would be that their coffee is roasted right here in the Burg. Starlight, downtown, uses the same roaster and serves up a good cup as does the White Hart. Too bad for them that they aren't convenient for most people; maybe that's why they aren't on the list!
Joe Beans- best iced coffee.
Where is the Mezzanine?

You mean the one in the shopping center on the left at the end? My buddy frequents that place & said it's awesome. I think the owners were chemist for some big company, but they decided to start creating their own coffee mixes.

Starbucks...I am well within walking distance of one, which is one of the main reasons I chose to live in Boonsboro.

i normally like mcD's coffee but I got some on the way to the beach last week in the middle of no where in NC and it was the worst coffee I have ever had. It tasted like soggy cardboard

I've never had a problem with the coffee from the McD's on Wards thats in the Target shopping center...its a nice backup when Starbucks isn't the easiest option.

One and the same blwall. The Forest shop is called The Good Cherry. Check out this article-

What isn't mentioned is that they use a Clover brewer- kind of like a commercial French Press- so you can get a single cup a freshly ground premium beans.
I am a coffee nerd.

Never seen that ad, but based on the N&A article, I guess it is the same place.
