Time now for the meal many college students don't realize exists ... unless it is served after midnight.

I actually like Chick-Fil-A more than any of those listed, but I voted for IHOP.

ihop is too much of a ripoff for what you're getting.

Cracker Barrel by far, unless you want...
pancakes = IHOP
buffet = Golden Coral (Friday - Sunday)

Famous Anthony's is good, but Cracker Barrel is too.

I have yet to be seated and served in any IHOP on the same day. It's like they deliberately hire the crippled, the infirm and the terminally distracted as their waitstaff.

Ive actually had nothing but good experiences at IHOP all hours of the day. I dont know when you go or where you go RTF

I am all about Cracker Barrel. but I went with the Kup this year. If you can get over the smoke, you will find a breakfast every bit as hearty and filling as The Barrel and for a lot less. Plus, I am giving it the nod b/c of it being a "Local" which IMHO should be a tie breaker for any decision

You'd rather have Little Ceasar's and you think Cracker Barrel is disgusting. Yea, why am I not surprised?

how is this possible? I don't think I've had anything there that I didn't love. Some of it is on the heavy side, though.

Have you ever ordered their OATMEAL?

But it's not their fault: all oatmeal is gross.

The use of oatmeal should be federally restricted to cookies and horse feed.

I’m wondering why HMO didn’t vote for Panera.

That was actually El Scorcho who nominated last year and since he's no longer active on the board it doesn't appear to be getting much love.

With all respect to our beloved El Scorcho, Panera is mostly a woman's restaurant.

We discussed this here:

That’s why I brought up HMO.

I can't remember what it was I had when I went to Cracker Barrel - all I remember is that it was a ripoff and tasted disgusting.

OK- so I'm the lone vote for Panera, but if you haven't had their glorified egg mcmuffin sandwich, you wouldn't understand. They are also a customer of mine, which makes me partial- but not a woman!

Cracker Barrel is far and away the cheapest sit down restaurant around. I doubt there's anything over $12 on the menu. Although I suppose if you think something tastes bad, it's a ripoff that you had to pay for it at all.
