90s Coffeehouse

I don't think I've ever personally purchased a Coffeehouse ticket in my life (I used to sneak into them in Schilling, and I've always had someone pick mine up for me since they moved to Vines). Tomorrow I'm actually going to buy my own ticket, but I need to know where the Student Activities Office is. It's either a big secret or everyone already knows, since it's nowhere to be found on the LU website.

Little help? :)

So the 90's is now officially a theme, huh. Man, first comes 30, now this. My youth is being stolen right before my very eyes.

Tell me about it. As someone who lived through the 80s and 90s in their entirety, I like going to these things and gauging their authenticity.

I'm expecting to hear some Bush and Nirvana covers, probably some Pearl Jam or Oasis. Those are obvious choices.

Dave Matthews Band is an almost guarantee.

I'll definately take the over.

The funny thing is, late 90s is still relatively normal. Its the early 90s where people were wearing parachute pants, boxcuts, and buttcuts.

what really blows my mind is when someone on facebook asks you to be their friend and they were born in 1990...that made me want to jump off a bridge

For the record, parachute pants were long gone by the time 1990 rolled around. Now mullets and sky high 'fros were very much still in vogue. I speak from experience on the former and Scar does on the latter.

Here's more info on the 1990s, for anyone who wants to relive their favorite decade: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990s

I became Dr. Cider in '93 & bought my first pickup truck in 1994, so it was a good decade for me.

you may be right about the parachute pants. I was actually thinking of Zubaz.

I became a Texan in January 1990. So it worked out well for me too.

Zubaz and "jams" shorts were in still alive in 1990.

Prediction: The theme song game will return. Among the theme songs played: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saved by the Bell, Blossom (which nobody will get), The X-Files (which nobody will get), Home Improvement and Boy Meets World (which someone may or may not get depending on which theme song they play).

HA! My high school football coach used to wear those all the time. Probably still does, wherever he is.
