The Chicken or the Egg, Which really came first?

I thought I'd help TTL by starting a thread that will draw the sharks away to the new blood.
I personally believe the Bible is very clear that the Chicken was created in full form and the egg came later for Adam's breakfast. He ate the eggs after the Apple though, so We'll never know what they tasted like before the fall!

I will absolutely agree with the politically-challenged Knucklehead on this one. Such a foul question, indeed.

Well I don't care what the Bible says, I think the egg came first. I like eggs more, and think chickens are dirty nasty animals.

Wait, so you are saying you'd rather have an Omlett than a Rotisserie Chicken?
You are NUTS!
And The chicken came first! Thus the popularity of Chicken Wings!

He wouldn't have eaten them before the fall. Everybody was vegans.

Creation Studies teaches us this. What he said was exactly what Liberty is teaching right now.

I don't really agree or disagree. I don't know. Honestly, I don't care enough to look it up. All I know is Eve ate the frickin apple and screwed it up for all of us.

Really? You had to point that out like the rest of us didn't know the Creation Story? Thanks for that.

For the record, the story never mentions apples at all. Or chickens or eggs for that matter.

Personally, I think that chickens were never created at all -- they're just too ugly -- but were, in fact, the result of an unfortunate "re-population incident" aboard Noah's Ark.

Genesis 1:29-30 (New King James Version)

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

That's enough of a reason right there.

She could have been eating a carrot at that point for all I care... I would have taken a bite......and I hate carrots.

As Adam said to Cain and Abel years later looking back at the Garden of Eden, "Boys that is where you mom ate us out of house and home." :D

This thread is Cool!
I still say the Chicken was first - meaning it was more important than the egg.

here's an interesting question. Are drugs like marijuana and tobacco "good"? I guess they would be if they were in the garden. I don't know too much about adaptation and microevolution in terms of if those plants are more recent. In conclustion, let's go eat a bowl full of pot!

I don't care what the Bible says, I want to smoke pot. Someone elect Ron Paul or one of those other Libertarian nutjobs so I can legally smoke pot!
