Truth be told...I am becoming more and more impressed with Huckabee over the past two weeks. If he was electable nationally, I would even perhaps jump on board. The problem, in my not so humble opinion, is he is not a national candidate, thus I am supporting McCain...
...and supporting him by voting for Obama tomorrow.

If Huck keeps winning--esp. this week with Maryland and VA up for grabs, the GOP is in trouble. McCain can explain one loss (Kansas) but if Huck keeps racking them up... look out.

It's a pretty simple I think.. the votes that were going to Romney are now going to Huck.

For me, it's a pretty telling statistic. Conservatives aren't going to vote for McCain.

I LOVE it. I want it to be undecided coming into the Convention. Once it gets to the second floor vote and the delegates are released, Huck has a serious chance to get the nomination. Romneys delegates could easily sway to Huck. Any you are 100% right, real conservatives will not settle for McCain.

knuckle, we all know you would shine huck's shoes...i think you have a man crush on him. if he gets the nomination, it would be a huge upset IMO, and i would have no problem supporting him, but until then it's mc cain.

Hate to break it to you smooth, but the GOP is coming together for McCain.......i don't understand the logic if no bitter attacks are going on why "just because he is probably going to win" - everyone should just have to get in line behind that.

Although....and I just thunk of this all by myself...the longer Huckabee stays in...the more he gets his name out nationally...and the BETTER it would be for him to be a viable VP candidate. Pretty good strategy, if you ask me.

like i said, i have zero problem with huck. i just feel like the longer he stays in the longer it will keep the party apart. if mc cain does get the nomination i do not see him picking huck for his VP.
