Weather knocked out my dish for now; O's were winning 2-0 against the Twins.

I'm not happy until I see it!!!!

That was kinda fun...but I wish we would have gotten more of the blunt of it

My dad's computer, fax machine, and modem all got hit. And he was using surge protectors.

Agreed. The lights didn't even flicker at City Stadium...though there is an uprooted tree by the pool at my apartment complex.

There are times when I wished I lived in Appomattox b/c it seems every storm follows the river and hits them good....but then I remember that I'd have to start saying "I'm going to town" and then I'm happy right where I'm at

A colorkey would be great for that map...I know white means there's nothing happening, but what about the areas shaded in peach and that dull orange?

As you can see on our color-coded map...and popping up on our official radar images...more storms are popping up west of Lynchburg and could give the area some much needed relief from the current heat wave.

I still haven't finished mowing my grass from where I ran out of gas last week. It's been too hot. My yard has a mullet: short in the front, long in the back.

And after the little rain shower here in Boonsboro, its cooled down at least 10 degrees. There is steam rising up from the parking lot AND the grass

I made sure to get the front yard mowed last week before it got hot. I ran out of gas on the side yard. I was going to get gas the next day and finish, but it was 95 degrees. Yea, no thanks. I'll get in done in the next two days when the high is upper 80's and 60's at night.

Mix in some Clorox in your white load and those streaks will come right out.
