How's Brentwood doing? I went there my last year, and really liked it. Unfortunately, by the end of my time there, it seemed as if it became the "cool" thing to do, and LU students started to go just to be seen. Still, it had great worship and great preaching. I hope that hasn't changed.

Doing extremely well, actually. It is certainly packed with college students, but the church is okay with that. We have got a TON of young families with kids, and they're what's really driving the church. We just recently went to three services and our cups are overflowing as far as giving goes. I really haven't felt as at home in a church as I do at brentwood. I just wish I could manage to stay in town on the weekends a little more often so I could get more involved.

There's a gal here in Richmond who was a member there when she lived in Lynchburg. Says she really loved it there.
As for myself...when I was a student at Liberty, I went to TRBC. There were no other options allowed at that time. RAs would patrol the dorms and you would get written up if you decided not to go. I didn't go to church at all my senior year when I lived off campus...guess it was my way of rebelling.

Glad to hear, HMO, because Mrs. Cider was really concerned.

I concur. Pastor Jon's message yesterday was very personal, but one that everyone should hear. When they put it up online, give it a listen....
