Graphics at LU vs. Graphics from LU

I'm going to admit up front that I don't fully understand the scope of what I'm talking about here, but that's part of why I'm starting this thread.
I've noticed recently (both at last night's games and at The Living Christmas Tree) that we have some really great motion-enhanced graphics on the projection screens. I particularly liked the graphics being used during the girls' game, especially the player graphics during free throws. TRBC also had some really good ones at the Christmas Tree.
On the other hand, the graphics we show on television in our broadcasts and our commercials are terrible. They look like someone dipped into an archive of the early 90's best computer-rendered video effects. I'll try to get screen shots soon of some examples, but the best thing I can point to right now is when the Flames Television Network comes on the air for a game. The intro graphic where it says "Liberty University" and has fire behind it is AWFUL. It's almost as bad as the theme here at FlameFans.
So, what would it take to get some of the people who work on the graphics that I like to work on some of the graphics that I don't like?
just a guess

Probably as simple as certain folks actually getting on the same page...
...kind-of like Supe's Student Activities and Athletics rant.

Certain people are in certain positions & things are done a certain way. Scorch, you know that from working here.

I certainly do, and I figured that was the case. Perhaps to get a change it will take a carefully put together webpage with examples of the good vs. bad, linked in a carefully written email to the right person.

Scorch... I know the person doing the graphics you like. If you want to speak with him directly PM me and I'll hook you up.

I agree, some of their stuff looks rather lame.
Scorch, did you find some of the examples you mentioned earlier?
