Forgive me for being annoyed but if the spirit rock is painted one more time with GOOGLE RON PAUL i'm gonna go postal. Honestly its a Spirit rock. come on. (steps on soap box) First of all. i can understand one time painting the rock in support of ron paul but every other day? The rock is meant to be painted for birthdays and big sporting events and things of the like. NOT POLITICS. I'm not voting for ron paul now. just because of this. well i take that back i wouldn't have voted for him anyway but still. any thoughts?

breathe....next week is thanksgiving break...lighten up!!!

I support RP and I think it's annoying. There's my $0.02.

my favorite part of the spirit rock was when someone woudl put like 40 manhours into decorating it....then the next morning it was painted black with "go team" scribbled in gray....hilarious..

yeah, go ahead and google ron paul, and find out who he's taking money from. good research project.

It's just a stupid campaign and it's getting old, quickly.

I knew guys that would see a group (usually girls) working hard on painting the rock, only to come right after they had left and just dump paint on it with their dorm number showing. Especially the "I love...." or "Will you marry me?" was painted. Most took pleasure in ruining that.

I remember one time though, someone painted a REALLY good picture of Jesus. My buddies and I were wondering who would be the first to spray-paint over Jesus. We kept track of how long it stayed up. IIRC it was something around 30 days. This was in the late 90's (probably around 97-98 ).

The same thing happened when someone painted the rock with a black suit and red tie in memorial of Dr. Falwell. It stayed up for something like 5 months (of course, 3 of those were the summer).

If I remember correctly, it was something stupid that covered it up.

I googled Ron Paul.

It said he's an atheist and kills virgins on the weekend.

Maybe I should spray paint "Google Life of a LUnatic" on there.
