What's the latest on the new campus bookstore? Still being planned to go right across from the stadium and take up parking spots? Was the ground breaking this month or next? A two-story bookstore would be great especially if one whole level was nothing but Flames gear. It would be nice if it will stay open at night to allow those who work during the day to pick up some Flames stuff.

Any other news yet? Sure would be nice to have the new bookstore be open in the evening. Trying to run up there during my lunch hour just doesn't work, with the traffic and parking issues. Would be nice to be open after games as well, so motivated fans can get hooked up with the latest Flames gear.

they have a booth at the games. there is also a new bookstore going up on east in the pit... it will be mainly snacks, but i think it may have a few clothing items.
i don't know about the date.... you know how that works around here. they say September, but if they start by February i'll be surprised

guessing they wait until after FB season- too much going on over there to screw it up with excavating equipment.

unless they plan on stick-framing it right on top of the blacktop.

never know with LU. i mean... they still have construction equipment taking up half of the rot parking lot, which is heavily utilized by commuters and is badly needed. most of the construction has poor planning around here

LU must use the same people as LC when they do construction then. At least I know now that LC isn't simply too stupid to hire a good company, apparently there aren't any good construction companies around here?

Dude, Coleman Glass is good. They do good stuff. The couldn't start until the crap on the inside of the building got finished, and that took longer than expected and it all snowballed. It sucks, it gets in the way, but to say the company sucks is right along with most of your ignorant posts, shuk.

wahts that have to do with the construction company leaving construction vehicles in the parking lot - unless they are still doing construction? also, if you say coleman glass' being behind schedule is because of what needed to be done on the inside, then maybe they should have gotten a different company to do the stuff on the inside. maybe you should go back and READ the post in which I replied too. also, JDUB stated that a lot of the construction is poorly planned.

No, you need to look up what ignorant means. It means "lacking in knowledge or training." They're not just leaving it laying around the parking lot in random places. They've got a section of the parking lot sectioned off for their stuff. It takes up space, but everyone knows it's their space.

Parking really has gotten a lot better. They're ticketing like they should be. Sure, it's crowded, but it's not as bad as when school started. The construction can't be too much longer as they're building the exterior walls now. After that they put they brick it and a lot of the construction stuff goes away. I give it another month and we should have most of that parking lot back.
