A Sea Of Red

You might not know if if you read the hard copy, but the letters to the editor section of the online edition looks to be an all out stupidity war. Athiests vs Christians. Monday's letter started it and today's is keeping it going. I'm seeing a lot of ignorance and non sequitur comments thrown around. It's pretty entertaining if you can take reading that type of slop.

is it a bunch of christians saying the atheists are wrong and atheists blasting the christians for a belief in what the atheists deem "a false god"? if that's basically what it boils down to, then I don't even want to begin to read them lol

If I wanted to read those kinds of arguments I'd dig up one of Richard Dawkins' sites. I certainly don't need the Lynchburg version of it.

I can't get into this. I'm just reading it. In that type of forum you can't get anywhere.

Yeah, I started reading it yesterday, but it's extremely tiring and there's no one around that will let me punch them in the face, and that's truly the only way to handle this.

man, it's getting pretty ugly. Now it's homeschooling vs public schools. With LU taking the brunt of it. Don't ask me how. Reading that stuff is maddening. Almost enough to wonder if it's just somebody trying to push buttons. But I honestly think people think like this. I've got to stop reading this stuff. But I won't.
