My brother who is a prayer leader on campus told me that in one of the leadership meetings they were talking about how the hair code has changed and now it is ok for guys to have hair halfway down the ears....I went onto the liberty way site and it has yet to change...is there anybody on here that can confirm this??

They changed it. Me and the filmguy were talking about it yesterday. Hair can be down to mid-ear now.

I think its kind of funny...and very much open to interpretation...I hate rules like that...I am happy about it simply because hair cuts aren't cheap...but this rule is very much open to interpretation

That means one less rule for faculty and overzealous RA's have to enforce.

I have an idea- why not just say, "eyes must be visible".

That way you can make sure the kids are awake during class. That's really the only reason I could think you'd need to monitor hair.

That was the only thing I got reps for, and I got several. And my hair was never long. They'd give you reps if it just touched your ears or collar. Oh, and I did get one due to the tie rule. Funny thing is that I had a tie on, I just had a pullover sweater on and the tie was pulled down a little with the top button of my shirt unbuttoned.

Good times.

"Hair cuts aren't cheap."

That's the lamest excuse ever. I hate it when LU students say that. Get your hair cut short at a barber shop for less than 10 bucks. You won't have to cut it again for at least a month. If your lucky, you'll find a place that will cut it for 6 dollars.

I don't like the new rule, in fact they should have enforced the old rule. I think long hair looks sloppy. In fact, I wish they had kept the dress code.

I guess I'm just an :oldhag

i have my own hair trimmers. they cost 30 dollars and i cut my hair short once a month, either on my own or with another's assistance (since i can't see the back very well). never have paid for a haircut once in my life.

lamest excuse ever??? hmmm...ok...I mean I get my hair cut...I don't use it as an excuse to not get a haircut...I use it in a way to complain about getting my hair cut....i don't look good with my hair cut too short...it makes me look 12....I perfer to at least look 18....even though i am much older....

i don't have a woman, so i don't have that problem. but if i did have a woman, and it turned on she didn't like my beard, I'd tell her to go hit the curb.

i've got standards, and if she doesn't like my beard then she doesn't fit my standards. simple as that.

if you have a beard now then that is understandable...if your girlfriend/wife, etc is use to you without a beard (like mine), then its understandable why she wouldn't like it
