Wonder of they will fire up the siren after every LU touchdown? :P

In my opinion they need to get rid of the siren at third downs.

Anyway, I'm glad to see this move taking place. If that umbrella case had actually been a depraved gunman, I could have very well been killed. We were supposed to travel to Elon for a tournament that day but the rain cancelled it and since it was already after 10 everyone on the tennis teams went back to their dorms and none of us knew anything about it until later that afternoon.

It is a true story. They locked down campus for a guy carrying an umbrella. They made us lock our office, turn the lights off and get in the hallway.

Insane.

I know, I think it's just funny that Atrain has equated that to "I would have died"

I like the fact LU has something like 30 dorms but he would have chose theres. Not to mention about 2000 rooms but he'd find the tennis team randomly!

then again with their record the last few years I guess it's possible

Our record will be changing...Coach Johnson knows how to be successful and is going to take our programs to the top of the Big South and beyond. It'll happen on the women's side first, but I guarantee you that LU tennis will no longer be the doormat of the league on either side.

The "umbrella incident" happened during CFAW. No wonder umbrellas are now banned from the football stadium. :rainy :nono

Yeah, but this guy carried his umbrella in an "umbrella case." Who does that?

Charles Spence, LU’s director of planning and construction, said about $70,000 has been budgeted for the system.
hey, that's pretty close to how much they'd need to come up with for a new Director of EMS 8)
