I never have either. I just received a letter from the alumni office saying they are starting a chapter here and to come to the introductory meeting. Sort of sad that right here in Lynchburg, we didn't even have an alumni chapter. I think it will be good to reconnect with folks.

Wonder if they're going to feed us Kool Aid along with the line about increasing our donations.

The letter did say a reception was to follow.

Well I attended the event and it was good. There was no appeal for donations other than if the Lord leads you to give. It was just a rundown of the exciting things that are happening on campus. A lot I already knew by virtue of being right here in L'burg. I did learn that as soon as the 5 dorms that are being built now are done, they will begin on 7 more. No kool-aid, but they did have Chick-fil-A and soft drinks. Was given an alum t-shirt, travel mug, and decal though. Good to see alum coming together and supporting the mission of Liberty. There should be an alum membership card being mailed with the next newsletter so if anyone needs to update name or address info, get it updated now with the alumni office.

I look forward to the next meeting being in Houston.
Thanks for the report.
