Lynchburg, VA - Quite a surprise and quite an honor for ABC-13 Sports Director Dennis Carter. At Wednesday night's Lynchburg Area Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, Dennis received the Calvin Porter Award.

I agree with both sides on the issue but DC is a very good man and been good to us

I missed the original joke but I am happy when any sportscaster gets a little love from their community. Good for him.
