Come on, that's not fun. When stations first starting doign this stunt a few years ago they had reporters standing up by themselves doing a standup when the jolt arrived.
Noe THAT was entertaining.

My typing is bad, but there was only one typo in that post ... the one in yellow. The second sentence is referencing the portion of a television story where the reporter appears on camera known as the standup.

It's funny that a few years ago, Johnny Knoxville getting hit with a taser on television was how the series "jack***" opened it's very first episode.
Now it's evening news.
Telling.
I wonder if in a few years news anchors will randomly get hit with socks full of flour during the 5:30 broadcast?

Don't know how I missed this...
I asked a police officer a few weeks ago about training for the giant taser he had center front of his gunbelt.
He said the training included getting tasered for anyone who wanted to volunteer.
Peer presure forced him into stepping up and taking it - he said it was the worst 5 seconds of his life followed by complete disorientation.
